I'm so sorry, I've not blogged for so long!! But when I received this email in my mailbox this morning. I feel I have to quickly post this up and alert everyone of such scams!!

This email came to my dance99.com.my mailbox, enquiring about training of belly dance for six person. The funny thing was, the names includes male and female participants. I was curious as, they never mentioned what's the purpose of the training and I remember such scams reported by some other belly dancers before.

Therefore, I did a search on the list of participants given and found out that they are part of Internet scams that will reap you off your precious hard-earn money!!

Based on what I read, these people will send you deposits of the payment and claimed that, they have "accidentally" paid more than required and will request that you return the money.

Another incident also indicate that they used a third-party name to make bookings without the knowledge of the person. So, please be careful when you receive such emails. Always check online before you reply to suspicious request of your service!!

Below is the email that I received.

Hello Sir,

My Name is Mr. Patrick Craig. I want to book for a 3(Three) weeks Belly-Dance course/Training with your dance studio for 6(six) guest from my department that will be coming to your country this November. The requested dates are 15th November, 2010 to 7th December, 2010.

Please, if the specified period is available, get back to me with the calculated cost including taxes (in USD/EURO) for the whole period of the course/training so that i can get our sponsor to send you his credit card details immediately for the deposit payments to secure the booking.

Below are the Names of all the 6(six) participants:

* Flora Lieu
* Michael Mobutu
* Sandra Achusa
* Tazaan Gambrel
* Tryson Musill
* Juan Bazaqs

Date: 15th November, 2010 to 7th December, 2010.

Number of participants: 6(six)

Also, i hope you do have a POS machine for credit card charges as regards the deposit payment. And i also want to know the type of credit cards you accept for payment.
