Just yesterday I added a new dance routine into my Beginner-Beginner (Level 1) class with the song "So Ya So" by Mohammed Mounir. This routine consists of some basic belly dance techniques to help them learn and drill the techniques in preparation to learning a performance choreography at the end of the level. The song is simple, fun and easy to dance to.
To take a listen to the song, please go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxu7n9J6_Bk. However, the version I have is a little different. It's without the techno stuffs in the beginning.

From where can I bring sugar?
The door of government is closed
The catch me and they catch him
So ya so they handuff my darling (X 2)
My darling wants terter**
Where can I get terter?
The child who is selling terter
They caught me and they caught him
So ya so they handuff my darling (X 2)
My darling wants a mirror
Where can I get a mirror?
Everybody knows the story
They caught me and they caught him
So ya so they handuff my darling (X 2)
Break
My darling wants jasmine
From where can I get jasmine?
They make a wall around us
They catch me and they catch him
So ya so they handuff my darling (X 2)
My darling wants a pearl
From where can I get a pearl?
The stole the pearls
The catch me and they catch him.
So ya so they handuff my darling (X 5)
**terter are shiny things that are worn on clothing and gallabiyas,
especially at weddings. The implication here is that there can be no
weddings or celebrations.
