Do you know that there is a Belly Dance Competition this Saturday, 2nd May 2009 in Penang? I only got to know about it last 2 weeks. It was too short notice for me to do anything, but I know a few of my friends will be competing in this event. I'm interested to go watch them compete and hopefully, I can take some photos for them.

There is another competition going to held in Kuala Lumpur on 30-31 August 2009, I hope to see you there
It was a great competiton, but judging was difficult, alot of quaters put undue pressure on the adjudictors and there was a fair share of complains afterwards. As a judge our results does not have to agree with everyone's else. Tough luck if you didnt make it, we do not make it a point to be in cahoots with anyone. We do not return favors while marking, as far as i'm concern we judge what we see.
As far as collabrations go not everyone is on the same team. Maybe the student teachers of so and so or maybe there are someone someplace who owes some great favour but dont make a shamble for the rest.
